Description Registered Nurse (RN) Nightingale Respite Care is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) for Client Assessments to become part of our team and join our mission of providing quality non-medical homecare to our aging and veteran populations. Flexible Schedule (Scheduling to meet your needs) Weekly Pay Support Staff Available Online Training Responsibilities Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of in-home care Veteran clients Assess clients’ conditions and chart observations, and perform evaluation tasks Educate clients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures, and make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the client’s quality of life Staff Supervisory Visits Complete appropriate and timely documentation of all client care, including progress note, summaries, and per state requirements Provide effective communication to clients, their family members, and other team members Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position. Qualifications: Registered Nursing Degree (Associate or Bachelor) from an accredited college of nursing with current unrestricted registration and license in the applicable state required Current state license in good standing as an RN TB up to date Current CPR certification 1 year experience in hospital, nursing home, other facility or homecare agency setting Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to pass a background check Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client) Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations Adequate physical endurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
