Quality Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Operations, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive quality experience in manufacturing , including leadership or management responsibilities.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and QMS in high-reliability environments such as aerospace, medical, or manufacturing sectors.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing inspection, welding, fabrication, electrical control panels, and UL 508A requirements.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis, corrective actions, manufacturing testing, and nonconforming material control.
• Experience with measurement and inspection equipment, calibration, and quality metrics.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as welding, fabrication, piping, and electrical assembly.
• Preferred: Certifications such as ASQ CMQ/OE, CQE, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Lean, Six Sigma, or UL 508A MTR.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and maintain the company’s ISO 9001-based Quality Management System, ensuring compliance and continual improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to establish quality objectives and KPIs.
• Oversee incoming materials, in-process work, and finished product testing ensuring adherence to specifications and workmanship standards.
• Conduct internal audits, coordinate corrective actions, and prepare for external ISO audits.
• Provide quality oversight for welding, fabrication, electrical panels, and manufacturing activities, supporting process improvement initiatives while reducing scrap and defects.
