Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist

Job Description

Manufacturers Rep of commercial HVAC is seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for securing billing payments from your customers.

Responsibilities:

Make collection calls and emails
Advise and follow-up with customers on unpaid accounts
Investigate disputes
Work closely with Sales staff to resolve discrepancies
Initiate escalated processes to collect past due accounts
Keep records and status of customer's account
Receive and post payment to customer's account

Qualifications:

Previous experience in Collections, billing, customer service, or other related fields
Commercial construction experience a plus
Ability to build rapport with clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask
