Quick Facts Location: Bossier City, LA Start Date: 09/21/2026 End Date/Duration: 12/19/2026 Shift: 10H Nights (8:00 PM 6:30 AM, Monday Sunday) Hours/Week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Contract/Travel Licensure: Louisiana Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist, ASCP or equivalent (Medical Laboratory Scientist) Experience: 2 3 years minimum, supportive of first-time travelers based on experience Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay: $62.40/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time according to applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Perform laboratory testing across core areas including Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Body Fluid Analysis Support laboratory operations as shift coordinator or team leader during night shifts Operate and troubleshoot advanced laboratory equipment such as Ortho VITROS 5600, Beckman DxC 700AU, DiaSorin Liaison XL, Radiometer Blood Gas Analyzer, and more Maintain accurate charting using Meditech Expanse or comparable systems Work independently with minimal support staff while ensuring high-quality, accurate results Troubleshoot and reach out to other facilities for emergencies or technical issues as needed Ensure compliance with processing, safety, and quality standards What You Need Required: Louisiana License in Clinical Laboratory Science Medical Laboratory Scientist certification (ASCP or equivalent) 2 3 years of laboratory experience with proficiency in Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Body Fluid Analysis Competency in operating major laboratory analyzers and equipment listed Ability to work independently during night shift shifts Preferred: Experience with Meditech Expanse system Previous experience in a hospital or large laboratory setting Flexibility to be scheduled on weekends and holidays as needed About the Assignment This position is based at a leading facility in Bossier City, Louisiana, providing essential laboratory services with a focus on accuracy, safety, and quality.
