We’re growing and looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team!

Are you someone who loves keeping things organized, catching the details others miss, and turning information into polished, finished work? We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Coordinator who can help keep our marketing, proposal, business development, and company initiatives moving forward.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being the person behind the scenes who gets things done. You’ll work with people across the company, juggle a variety of projects and deadlines, and play an important role in how Ratcliff presents itself to our clients, partners, employees, and communities.

Location: Alexandria, LA or Baton Rouge, LA
This position may be based out of either office, depending on the selected candidate’s location.

What You’ll Do

As our Marketing Coordinator , you’ll provide day-to-day support for Ratcliff's marketing and business development efforts while also assisting our Executive Leadership Team with key administrative and coordination needs.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking a project from "here's what we need" to "it's done."

Marketing & Business Development

• Coordinate with project teams to gather project photos, updates, statistics, and other information for marketing and proposal use
• Assist with preparing proposals, presentations, qualifications packages, and other marketing materials
• Maintain proposal templates, project information, team resumes, company qualifications, and other marketing resources
• Help track opportunities, schedules, deliverables, and deadlines
• Assist with drafting, editing, and scheduling social media content
• Support company events, community involvement, business development initiatives, and outreach efforts
• Maintain accurate client, partner, project, and company information
• Help ensure Ratcliff's marketing materials remain current, consistent, and professional
• Assist with other marketing projects and initiatives as needs arise

Executive & Administrative Support

• Provide administrative and coordination support to members of the Executive Leadership Team
• Coordinate calendars, meetings, travel, and other scheduling needs
• Prepare agendas and meeting materials and document meeting minutes when needed
• Assist with correspondence, reports, presentations, and internal communications
• Help keep follow-ups, deadlines, and action items organized and moving forward

Data & Project Support

• Maintain and update company, project, and marketing data for accuracy
• Assist with database and CRM maintenance
• Provide coordination support to estimating and other departments as needed
• Work across teams to gather information and support company-wide initiatives

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes ownership, pays attention to the details, and follows through . You don't need to be a salesperson. You do need to be comfortable working with different personalities, asking for the information you need, keeping people on track, and managing several moving pieces at once.

Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of experience in marketing, administrative coordination, communications, or a similar role
• Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication
• Strong follow-through and a proactive approach to work
• Comfortable working independently while also collaborating across departments
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
• Construction industry experience is a plus, but not required

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, or similar design tools is a plus
• CRM or database experience is preferred
• Social media content or scheduling experience is a plus
• Basic knowledge of construction terminology is helpful, but not required
