Job Title Per Diem Home Infusion Registered Nurse Why This Role Matters This role plays an important part in helping LUX Infusion deliver a patient‑first experience by bringing high‑quality infusion care directly into patients’ homes. In this role, you’ll contribute to work that: Help patients feel safe, supported, and confident receiving care outside of a traditional clinical setting Support physicians, caregivers, and internal teams through clear communication and reliable clinical coordination Ensure continuity of care for patients managing complex therapies in real‑world environments Everything we do connects back to real people navigating complex healthcare journeys — and this role helps meet patients where they are, with skill, empathy, and reassurance. Schedule Varied hours occurring Monday through Friday between 8:30am and 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time Location LUX Infusion is seeking a Part‑Time Per Diem Infusion Nurse to see patients in their homes in Rouses Point, NY . Work location is subject to change based on business needs. On‑Call Requirement Participation in the on‑call rotation is required. It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role would be on‑call approximately once every eight (8) weeks , covering two (2) weekdays per month and one (1) weekend . What You’ll Do Responsibilities include: Provide direct home infusion nursing care by inserting, monitoring, and removing IVs and administering prescribed medications, blood products, and nutrition Monitor patients for adverse reactions, obtain vital signs, complete physical assessments, and document all aspects of care accurately and thoroughly Perform venipuncture and manage central lines, including PICC, port, and midline access as appropriate Teach patients and caregivers how to safely perform and monitor home infusion therapy Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing coordinators, directors of nursing, agencies, and internal support teams Coordinate start‑of‑care and ongoing visits, confirm schedules, and communicate updates across care teams Complete, review, and submit nursing notes, therapy administration reports, and clinical documentation Communicate changes in patient condition, concerns, or reportable events to referring providers and internal partners Participate in the on‑call rotation and respond appropriately to urgent patient needs Uphold compliance with all federal and state regulations, privacy standards, and ethical guidelines Bring reliability, professionalism, and strong clinical judgment to independent work in patients’ homes What We’re Looking For You may be a great fit if you bring: Deep care for patient well‑being and home‑based care experiences A current RN license in the state of practice and at least two years of nursing experience IV certification and experience with central line care and management Confidence working independently while coordinating with a broader care team Strong assessment, documentation, and organizational skills Clear, compassionate communication with patients, caregivers, and providers Comfort managing care in home settings, including high‑stress or urgent situations Willingness to travel locally to patient residences and healthcare facilities Why LUX Infusion At LUX Infusion, we believe infusion care deserves more light — more warmth, more clarity, and more connection.
