Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/20/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: A Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse (RN) position is available in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This role involves working on a surgical unit requiring candidates to have surgical experience, particularly caring for patients after vascular, thoracic, colorectal, and general surgeries. The position offers a rotating night or day/night schedule with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. Job Details: Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire Schedule: 12-hour shifts with rotating nights and days; minimum 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; surgical experience caring for post-operative vascular, thoracic, colorectal, and general surgery patients; experience with chest tubes, tubes for post-surgical patients, drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone; managing lines, tubes, drains, Trachs, Laryngectomies, telemetry, complex wounds, and care for central lines and blood draws; minimum 2 years of experience Additional Information: The assignment is for Medical Surgical (Med Surg) only. Unit's common diagnoses include ARDS, esophagectomies, whipples, and sepsis. Nurse-to-patient ratios on nights are 5:1, and on days are 4:1, sharing with progressive care unit. The role may require floating to other units as needed. On-call duties are required. Facility notes: The unit has a bed count of 32 and shares resources with a progressive care unit; the most common diagnoses involve respiratory and post-surgical conditions.
