You Are: Convinced a relationship with Jesus changes everything in a person’s life Committed to keeping your family as your first ministry Dedicated in your personal study of God’s Word Consistently placing a high priority on worship and your personal prayer life An excellent and generous steward of your personal finances Obedient to God to take a Sabbath and make space for soul-keeping Deeply compassionate towards people who are in need or hurting Excited about global missions and local outreach - you want to change the world A part of a healthy friendship community and accountability circle Willing to give up personal pleasures and freedoms in order to live a life above reproach and that is aligned with our Leadership Covenant Someone who displays a heart to serve while projecting your own personality, while still maintaining an attitude of professionalism that is pleasing and glorifying to God Someone who is committed to maintaining a clean and organized work environment Someone who is able to work independently Committed to all health and safety standards Team orientated and willing to maintain a friendly professional relationship with other staff Someone who is willing to work with a high volume of small wares You Will: Communicate directly with Sous Chef, Executive Chef and Grill Leaders Be required to complete all necessary training as provided by management/trainer Be responsible for set-up, maintenance and tear down of dish area: including dish machine and sinks, and floors Safely handle equipment and tools provided Break down boxes and keep back dock area free from debris and organized Be responsible for proper disposal of trash and linen Pick up, clean trays and return trays to café Maintain and clean equipment such as : racks, coolers, carts, and ice machine Wash and scrub pots and pans, utensils, dishes including items from the bakery counter Clean walk-ins, reach-ins, and storage areas upon request Be responsible to know and adhere to all grill handbook guidelines You Have: A strong personal commitment to Jesus Christ Gift of hospitality and service A heart to serve in a support position Interpersonal and verbal communication skills The ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task The ability to work in a fast-paced environment What you are required to know: We are an EEO employer. You may have to bend, sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, lift, pull, push and/or move up to 35 lbs. This is a Temp - Part Time (20 hours/ week) hourly non-exempt position.
