Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, offering full-time or part-time opportunities working with dogs and cats in a full-service small animal practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care across a wide range of general practice services, including wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups, performing diagnostic and surgical procedures, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will be expected to communicate effectively with clients, educate them on preventative care, and collaborate closely with the team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Additional duties include monitoring hospitalized cases, supporting hospital protocols, and contributing to team efficiency and workflow. This role is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
This is a full-service veterinary hospital offering comprehensive care from wellness exams and vaccinations to surgery and daytime emergency care. The facility is well-equipped with ultrasound, digital dental radiography, and cold laser therapy, along with 8 exam rooms to support a busy and varied caseload. Additional services include pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, oxygen cage therapy, and geriatric care. The hospital offers flexible scheduling options, including the possibility of a 3 or 4 day work week with a rotating Saturday. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Team
The team consists of 5 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team and an experienced Hospital Manager, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
