Position Summary
Accurate Machine & Tool Corporation (AMT) is seeking an experienced Quality Manager – AS9100 to lead and continuously improve our Quality Management System (QMS) in a growing aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. The Quality Manager will maintain and improve AMT’s AS9100-compliant QMS, ensure customer and regulatory requirements are met, and promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage oversight of internal QMS System
- Lead corrective action when NCRs occur and conducting Root Cause Analysis to ensure Process Improvement
- Oversight of inspection processes and leadership of quality department personnel
- Possess an drive for Continuous Improvement
- Develop and monitor quality performance metrics and KPIs
Qualifications
- Experience working in an Aerospace / Defense Manufacturing Environment
- Experience with approving First Article Inspections
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, ITAR, CMMC, CUI, and FCI requirements
- Knowledge of CNC machining, welding, special processes, or other precision manufacturing processes
