PRN Hospital Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a PRN phlebotomist for a hospital laboratory in Clanton, Alabama. The role involves collecting blood specimens using various techniques, processing samples, entering patient data, and providing customer service on a variable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
• Accurately enter patient information and maintain specimen logs
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Process billing information and collect payments when required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 months or more phlebotomy experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Proven track record of exceptional customer service
