Job Description
***Only qualified Warehouse Operator candidates located near Covington, Georgia area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience

• 1+ year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training

• Experience working in material handling, logistics, warehouse operations, or manufacturing environments

• Experience operating in a metrics-driven environment

• Ability to work under general to limited supervision while following established procedures and quality guidelines

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling processes

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment including conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks

• General computer skills

• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English

• Ability to perform basic math calculations

• Knowledge of standard operating procedures and quality guidelines

• Ability to maintain records and documentation as required

Soft Skills

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

• Dependable and safety-focused work approach

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, balance, climb, crouch, reach, pull, push, grasp, twist, and perform repetitive hand movements

• Ability to frequently use hands for handling, typing, fingering, and picking tasks

• Ability to lift and/or move over 50 lbs

• Ability to work near moving mechanical parts

• Ability to work in hot summer conditions with no air conditioning and cold winter conditions with limited heating

• Ability to work in moderate to loud noise environments

• Ability to occasionally work at heights and around fumes or airborne particles

• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and environments with vibration exposure

Responsibilities

• Move materials, parts, assemblies, finished products, and goods throughout warehouse operations

• Utilize warehouse equipment to transport and handle materials safely and efficiently

• Maintain records and documentation as required

• Complete routine tasks using prescribed procedures and established methods

• Follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines

• Apply basic operational knowledge and skills to daily warehouse activities

• Support warehouse processes while maintaining productivity and safety standards

• Adhere to all workplace safety requirements and operational procedures
