Registered Nurse (RN)

Join our team as a Registered Nurse, specializing in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry care. We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional patient care in an inpatient department setting.

Position Details

• Shift: Night (3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Floating: Required to float between various facilities

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care to a diverse patient population with multiple co-morbidities, specializing in stroke and neuro patients.
• Monitor patients utilizing telemetry and remote monitoring systems.
• Administer medications and treatments in line with established protocols.
• Manage feeding tubes, access ports, and perform blood product administration.
• Oversee central line and peripheral line care, including PICC line management and IV starts.
• Implement isolation precautions and conduct wound care, including the management of wound vacs.
• Ensure proper patient ratios, maintaining a standard of 1:5-6 nurse to patient.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Telemetry experience, with a preference for on-unit monitoring.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
• Strong understanding of CVA and use of nasal cannula in patient care.
• Experience in patient ratio management and delivering care to high-acuity populations.
