We’re hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for a dedicated semi-local position based in Taftville, Connecticut. This opportunity offers consistent freight, weekly home time, assigned sleeper trucks, and competitive pay.

Job Details
- Position Type: Semi-Local CDL-A Driver
- Home Time: Weekly 34-Hour Reset
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Night Shift
- Approximately 2,000 Miles Per Week
- Company Driver
- Automatic Sleeper Trucks
- Dry Van Trailers
- No Touch Freight
- Drop & Hook Operation
Freight
Drivers haul dedicated freight between distribution facilities throughout Connecticut and surrounding areas. Most loads are drop-and-hook with no-touch freight, providing efficient runs and consistent weekly miles.
Drivers should expect approximately:
- 6-8 loads per week
- 9-12 stops weekly
- 2-3 overnights each week
Peak season may require an optional sixth workday.
Equipment
- Assigned Automatic Sleeper Trucks
- 48′ & 53′ Dry Van Trailers
- Reliable transportation to the terminal is required.
- Trucks cannot be taken home.
Hiring Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of recent CDL-A experience
- Must meet DOT qualification standards
- Safe driving record
