Communications Manager (Editorial)

Summary:
Responsible for writing and editing news articles and other digital content. Comfortable distilling complex issues and topics into concise and approachable language.


Job Responsibilities:
* Write and edit blog posts to disseminate news and information to media, policy elites, and consumers.
* Help teams prepare and publish posts on the company newsroom, including product announcements, policy updates, and reactive statements.
* Develop ideas for proactive content and storytelling.
* Work closely with subject matter experts across the company to gather information and get approval for public release.
* Develop concepts and copy that resonate with the target audience.
* Partner with creative team to develop complementary visual assets.
* Contribute to distribution strategy, including advising on and drafting social media posts.

* Ability to manage multiple projects at once

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Wordpress or other content management systems

*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
