Job Overview: TheManual Machinistperforms a variety of duties including drilling and tapping of castings. Responsibilities: Good working knowledge of manual machining equipment such as lathes and mills. Use manual lathes and mills Requirements: High School Diploma or GED 1+ years’ experience Manual Machining. Core Competencies: Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally with hoist to be used on objects over 40 pounds. Standing: Standing is required in periods of up to three hours at a time. Stooping: Would be required to lift objects off pallets Hand Dexterity: Must be able to work with hand tools, screws and gauges, as well as operating buttons on controls. Verbal Communication: Must be capable of clear communication between co-workers and supervisor. Carrying: Capable of carrying 40 pounds for a distance of up to 25 feet. Preferences: Knowledge of inventory processes. Process driven and systematic in their approach to completing their work Ability to identify and solve problems. Ability to pass certification for Powered Industrial Vehicle license. Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements: This position will be based at our site in Bentleyville, PA no travel.
