Saint Mary Medical Center Job Type: PRN | Weekend PRN PT. Day shift with start time 8am. End time 4-4:30. Minimally, 1 Saturday a month but would like 2. Second Saturday could be 1/2 day. Holiday hours available as well. Your Experience Matters As a Physical Therapist (PT) at Lifepoint Rehabilitation, you will provide exceptional care to community patients, focusing on rehabilitation and patient well‑being. How You'll Contribute Assume responsibility and accountability for the care of patients being treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs; may orient staff and students and act as supervisor in their absence. Assess patients’ needs; initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions; collaborate with other team personnel to maintain professional standards and interdisciplinary teamwork. Observe and evaluate treatment effectiveness and goal achievement; recommend changes to physician if needed. Perform appropriate assessments and reassessments per policy; conduct accurate QI scoring for adult and geriatric patients in an adult medical rehabilitation program. Assess patient pain interfering with functional participation; implement pain‑reducing interventions and make appropriate physician contact. Qualifications And Requirements Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the hospital is located. Inpatient rehab experience preferred. Current BLS/CPR certification.
