Looking for PTA, PT or OT to fill this position. Lymphedema certification preferred but not required. \n

T his role qualifies for a sign-on bonus!! \n

M-F, 8 hour days, will see lymphedema patients full time. Open to other shift combinations. \n

\nResponsibilities\n
\n
Essential Functions \n
\n
\nDemonstrates ability to perform patient transfers with assistance as needed from bed, chair and floor, if applicable. Is aware of and demonstrates safe and appropriate body mechanics to reduce the risk of injury to self, staff and patients.\n
\n
\nDemonstrates respect by treating our patients and each other with dignity and respect, being empathetic and caring, and staying fully engaged with those who need our services.\n
\n
\nDesigns an appropriate plan of care that integrates goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan. Adjusts the care based on patient response and available evidence.\n
\n
\nEducates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using relevant and effective teaching methods.\n
\n
\nEvaluates clinical findings to determine physical therapy diagnoses and outcomes of care.\n
\n
\nPerforms examination, selecting reliable and valid examination methods relevant to the chief complaint, results of screening, and history.\n
\n
\nProduces documentation in accordance with the Clinical Process Policy (CTSCP67).\n
\n
\nScreens patients using procedures to determine the effectiveness of and need fortherapy services, if appropriate.\n
\n
\nUses support personnel according to legal standards and ethical guidelines. Monitors the care delivered by support personnel and provides regular feedback.\n
\n
\nIf applicable, completes annual education as assigned to comply with DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program requirements.\n
\n
Department Specific Job Function \n

\nEvaluates and implements intervention plans utilizing activities that are functional in nature and take into consideration the functional and emotional needs of the patient/family. Modifies approach in response to patient behavior and performance.\n
\n
\nUtilizes standardized outcomes measures in a uniform manner to ensure functional performance is accurately reflected.\n
\n
\nCompletes documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.\n
\n
\nCollaborates with patient, family and significant others throughout the rehabilitation process and provides education/family training as necessary.\n
\n
\nProvides supervision to PTA and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory agencies.\n
\n
\nClearly communicates patient performance, change in status, activity/transfer recommendations, and recommendations for discharge disposition and equipment required for the next level of care with the medical team.\n

\nCompensation and Benefits\n
\n
\nThe compensation range for this position is $40.84per hour - $70.24per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
