CICU receives patients from the Cath Lab, ED, and Acute Care areas who require specialized cardiac care.Nurses must exhibit high levels of professional competency. The nurses work to collaborate with all disciplines of the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.Our team is dedicated to making our patient s experience pleasant and comfortable in a safe and secure environment.Education - RequiredAssociated degree in nursingCertifications RequiredAHA ACLSAHA BLSAHA NIHOR RED CROSSCertifications - PreferredPALS If working in pediatric unitLicenses RequiredRegistered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license (No Temp Licenses' accepted)NursysExperience - Required:2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 RECENT year of experience in the field of specialty.
