Little Scholars Learning Center is hiring an experienced Lead Toddler Teacher for our early childhood education program. Job Summary As our Lead Toddler Teacher, you will plan and lead developmentally appropriate lessons, manage daily classroom routines, and maintain a safe, nurturing, and organized preschool environment. You will support children’s social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development while building positive relationships with families and collaborating with other teachers and center leadership. Location: Little Scholars Learning Center, 4123 Avenue U, Brooklyn, NY 11234 Pay: $24–$27 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM Job Type: Full-time, in person Sign-On Bonus: $250 Key Responsibilities What You’ll Do: Plan and lead age-appropriate, play-based preschool lessons and classroom activities Create a warm, inclusive, and well-organized learning environment Adapt lesson plans to children’s interests, abilities, and developmental needs Manage classroom routines and use developmentally appropriate classroom-management practices Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and developmental progress Communicate professionally with parents and families Maintain active supervision and follow all health, safety, and childcare licensing requirements Collaborate with assistant teachers, administrators, and other early childhood educators Support each child’s social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development Requirements Required qualifications: Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field At least 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education At least one year of preschool, daycare, childcare, or early childhood teaching experience Knowledge of early childhood curriculum and developmentally appropriate practice Strong classroom-management, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to reliably commute to 1502 W 1st St, Brooklyn, NY 11204 Benefits & compensation Why working with us is a good idea: Salary: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In-person (on-site) Education: Associate (Required) Experience: Childcare: 1 year (Required) Little Scholars provides premium early childhood education across 8 centers in Brooklyn and Manhattan, built on the Creative Curriculum and HighScope models — nurturing every area of a child’s development since 2013. #J-18808-Ljbffr
