Manager Revenue Accounting

Intuitive Surgical

Intuitive Surgical seeks a Revenue Accounting Manager to lead modernization initiatives in revenue accounting, including systems implementations, process automation, and rebate enhancements. The role combines strategic project leadership with oversight of monthly and quarterly financial close activities, requiring cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Commercial, and IT.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic initiatives to enhance revenue accounting processes, systems, scalability, and controls
Manage major cross-functional projects including rebate initiatives, revenue systems implementations, and process automation efforts
Partner across Accounting, FP&A, Commercial, and IT to design and implement sustainable business process solutions
Translate complex accounting requirements into system designs, business requirements, and testing strategies
Support monthly and quarterly financial close by overseeing revenue accounting activities and resolving complex accounting matters

Requirements

Minimum 6 years progressive public accounting and relevant industry experience
Strong knowledge of revenue recognition under ASC 606
Experience leading operational accounting close activities and reviewing complex analyses
Demonstrated project management skills with ability to manage cross-functional priorities
Experience supporting system implementations, process transformation, or finance technology projects
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and business audiences
