About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN - Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring Must-Have: LRDP experience, labor with postpartum experience preferred Description: Must live 50 miles away. Three 12-hour night shifts per week. On-call required: One shift per week. Patient population includes females of childbearing years and those who are pregnant 17 weeks gestation. Responsibilities include laboring and scheduled procedures such as C-sections, external cephalic versions, and cerclage. The unit activity includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and deliveries, both vaginal and C-section. Common equipment used in Labor and Delivery includes fetal monitors and Cerner documentation. Fetalink documentation is also utilized.
