Duration: 3+ months | Pay Rate: $17.40/hr (W2)
Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM EST, Mon-Fri (Flexibility for weekends and day/night coverage as required)


About the Role
Join a leading food safety and quality team as a Laboratory Technician, where you will play a critical part in ensuring the safety and quality of food and feed products. Responsibilities

- Perform routine analyses and laboratory testing to support food safety and operational teams
- Monitor instrumentation performance and conduct tests under supervision
- Document and communicate test results in company databases and reports
- Execute calibration checks, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs on analytical instruments
- Maintain up-to-date customer specifications and compliance documentation
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished products
- Support the development and improvement of food safety, quality, and regulatory programs
- Handle administrative and technical support tasks, escalating complex issues as appropriate

Required Skills and Experience

- 2-4 years of laboratory technician experience
- Proficiency in routine analytical testing methods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and regulatory procedures
- Capable of reading and interpreting technical documents, safety rules, and procedure manuals
- Effective written communication for reporting and documentation

Preferred Skills

- Experience with food/feed safety or quality labs
- Previous exposure to preventive maintenance on lab equipment
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance programs
