About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to serve as its senior clinical leader, overseeing the quality, consistency, and direction of clinical practice across a large network of sites and healthcare professionals. The CMO will be responsible for setting and leading the implementation of clinical strategy, with a focus on care redesign, and ensuring that the care delivery model aligns with the organization's commitment to patient care and independent, physician-led values. This role also involves leading the physician well-being program, championing sustainable and purposeful practice, and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team to integrate and improve clinical programs. Candidates for the CMO position at the company must have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a practicing physician in an outpatient setting, with an additional 5 years in a medical director or similar leadership role within primary care or a related healthcare setting. A current medical license and board certification are required, with a preference for a Master's degree in a relevant field. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, a proven track record in leadership and driving organizational change, and a strong commitment to the mission and strategic direction of the organization. Experience in value-based care, population health management, and a strong understanding of healthcare legislation and standards are also essential.
