About the Position MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Kansas City, Missouri. The position is with a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency and involves assignment to a top healthcare client. Key Details Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 9 hours per day Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities The Speech Language Pathologist / SLP is responsible for the assessment of referred patients requiring treatment for speech, hearing, or language deficits. The SLP will teach patients how to produce sounds, improve voice quality, and enhance oral or written language skills to communicate more effectively. The SLP will also instruct individuals on strengthening muscles or employing compensatory strategies for safe swallowing. Services/interventions are delivered in accordance with physician orders. The SLP assesses patient needs, plans and evaluates care, modifies interventions, and establishes realistic, achievable goals to facilitate reliable communication and swallowing skills so patients can fulfill educational, vocational, and social roles. Qualifications Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or actively pursuing licensure. At least one year of professional working experience. Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology. Current CPR certification. Must possess CCC certification. Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility.
