Psychological Associate I
The Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) is seeking a Psychological Associate I. These positions are in various locations across the state.
Salary Range: $38,364.00 - $64,152.00 Note: The starting salary is determined based on education, experience, or a combination of both. Benefits: Insurance, Annual leave, Sick leave, Paid holidays, State of Alabama RSA Retirement
Location: Locations across the state.
Job Summary:
This is an entry-level, full-time professional position in the performance of psychological services and research. This position provides supportive guidance and direction to inmates that suffer from psychological conditions.
Applicants must meet the requirements below:
- Master's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in psychology, plus at least one course in psychological testing.
- One (1) year experience in substance abuse counseling.
