Database AdministratorWe are looking for a talented and highly skilled DBA to join our Enterprise System Support Team as we continue support for our re-platformed z/OS Mainframe to an open system RedHat Linux Enterprise Server solution. Our agency’s applications continue modernization efforts using the latest technologies. We are looking for a Database Administrator with a true passion for modern technologies and skills to support legacy systems. The candidate must be highly efficient in conducting proactive analysis, configuring, and implementing web enabled system solutions. The candidate will perform multiple administrative functions across a large infrastructure that is comprised of Linux and MS Windows servers in a multi-tiered development environment incorporating both ADABAS and MS SQL databases supporting Natural, COBOL, and Linux Shell Scripting.Required Skills/Experience: Advanced technical expertise in15+ years of Software AG (SAG) Adabas Administration (Adabas 6 or later)15+ years IBM z/OS Mainframe 2 or more years’ practical experience inRedHat Linux ES (7.0 or later)Linux OS System S4 Security AdministrationTreehouse Software (tcVISION)Software AG Products (Natural for AJAX, Natural Security, Natural One, Designer Entire X, Construct, Predict, Web methods, Integration Server, ApplinX, Command Central, Adabas Manager)Cronus AdministrationFamiliarity with the followingMicrofocus Enterprise Server/DeveloperWindows Server (2008 R2 or later)
