About the Role

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial operations
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare financial statements, reporting packages, and management reports
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking relationships, and cash management
• Develop budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and long-range financial plans
• Build financial models and provide analysis to support key business decisions
• Create executive dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools
• Oversee compliance, reporting, licensing, and insurance-related activities
• Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and operational improvements

• Evaluate and improve accounting workflows and procedures
• Automate manual processes where practical
• Implement scalable systems and reporting solutions
• Strengthen internal controls and financial governance
• Improve visibility into organizational performance
• Develop processes that support future growth and expansion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred
• 6+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A experience
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Experience with accounting systems and process improvement initiatives
• Ability to communicate financial information effectively to leadership and non-financial stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and improving processes
• Industry experience in project-based, construction, real estate, or related environments is a plus

Required Skills

• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A experience
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Experience with accounting systems and process improvement initiatives
• Ability to communicate financial information effectively to leadership and non-financial stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and improving processes

Preferred Skills

• CPA
• Industry experience in project-based, construction, real estate, or related environments
