Our team members are our greatest asset—and we treat them as such!Your Role: Medical Records SpecialistAs a Medical Records Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate and confidential client records to support quality care.Core Responsibilities:Digitize all patients' existing paper records and informationDistribute and relocate medical charts within the agencyMaintain accurate records by following agency proceduresEnsure patient charts, paperwork, and reports are completed accurately and on timeKeep all medical records confidential and protectedComplete clerical duties including answering phones, responding to emails, and processing patient admission and discharge recordsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proven work experience as a Medical Records Clerk or similar roleProficient in information management programs and MS OfficeStrong attention to detail with excellent organizational skillsRelevant training and/or certifications as a Medical Records ClerkGood written and verbal communication skillsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement)Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Data entry experienceProven excellence in customer serviceAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyExperience working with a wide variety of customers including individuals with mental illness or substance use disordersReliable transportationWhat We Offer:Generous Time Off: Vacation, sick, personal, and holiday leaveWellness Benefits: Paid wellness day every other Friday, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and fitness reimbursementInsurance: Health, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, and additional life insurance.
