Job Description
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)/Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Position Information

We are currently seeking a qualified Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position is full-time, focusing primarily on night shifts, with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours and rotating weekend hours.

Responsibilities

Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to provide high-quality patient care.
Work effectively with minimal supervision.
Administer respiratory therapy and manage ventilatory support using equipment such as Hamilton T1 ventilators, Astral 150, and Vapotherm.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess and monitor patient progress.

Unit Information

The unit consists of 11 beds with a diverse patient population. Our team is equipped with advanced technology to support patient care.

Qualifications

Required Certifications: CRT or RRT, TN Board of Respiratory Care License, and ABG endorsement.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy preferred.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
Must be adaptable and possess a positive attitude.

Additional Information

The equipment used within the unit includes transport ventilators, Bipap machines, and Vapotherm devices. Experience working with Meditech and Medhost EHR systems is advantageous, but not mandatory.
