Communicate progress within the agency and with residents’ families. Evaluate and treat clients, maintaining appropriate documentation of services. Formulate effective treatment plans per physician request and obtain approval for services. Initiate ordered treatments and communicate client progress with the physician. Maintain proper documentation in accordance with state, federal and third‑party payor regulations. Comply with the Speech Language Pathology Practice Act in the state. Perform other duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services. What You Bring (Requirements) Minimum of a master’s degree in Speech Pathology with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Equivalent minimum of one‑year experience working with adults/children with disorders of neurological origin (language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, swallowing). Ability to function independently within the department. Valid license in Speech Pathology in the state (where applicable) or actively accumulating the supervisory experience required for license. Registration with the Department of Health or eligibility for registration. Recommended membership in Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association. Interest in geriatric rehabilitation. Experience Preferred 1 year of experience working with adults/children with disorders of neurological origin (language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, swallowing). Education Required Master’s or better in Speech‑Language Pathology or related field. Licenses & Certifications Required Speech Therapist certification.
