Job Description\n ARMStaffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: MRI Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: 10/19/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n MRI Technologist - Day Shift - Contract PositionAssignment Duration\n This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule\n Day Shift - 12 x 3Job Description\n The MRI Technologist independently performs imaging procedures, and demonstrates a variety of technical skills requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative for diagnostic purposes.Responsibilities\n \n Practices and maintains MR safety in the department.\n Maintains clinical competency for all exams and equipment.\n Prepares for exams by reviewing and presenting all relevant information to the physician based on protocol.\n Ensures accurate patient identification using two patient identifiers and follows universal protocols during procedures.\n Reviews patient history and assesses physician orders, applying departmental protocols for optimal results.\n Documents patient history in electronic records as required.\n Interacts compassionately and respectfully with patients and co-workers, maintaining a high level of dignity and cooperation.\n Effectively communicates instructions to patients to help alleviate their fears, ensuring cooperation during procedures.\n Ensures all imaging exams in the area of responsibility are properly coded, tracked, and archived.\n Performs additional duties as assigned, in accordance with system-wide competencies.\n Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology, or completion of an accredited CNMT, ARMRIT, or ARDMS program with MR registry.\n MR registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was obtained or date of hire if already possessed.\n Two years of experience in a similar role is required.\n Current licensure or certifications: ARRT Certificate, ARMRIT, NMTC, or ARDMS.\n Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.\n Compliance with Pennsylvania Acts 31, 33, 34, and 73.\n Why ARMStaffing?\n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
