Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $10,989 – $12,210 Location: Huntington, Indiana (Zip: 46750-1291) — Indiana anesthesia jobs / Huntington IN locum opportunities Position: Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist – General (Anesthesiology, General Anesthesia) Shifts per Week: 5 Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) — day shifts, no call Start Date: ASAP Assignment Dates: Aug 5, Sept 9, Oct 21, Nov 25, Dec 9, Dec 23 Credentialing Time Frame: 120 days Team Model: 1 MD / 2 CRNAs (collaborative perioperative team) Number of ORs: 2 EMR System: EPIC (EPIC experience preferred) Job Requirements Board Certified Anesthesiologist (ABMS or AOA) Minimum 2 years of clinical anesthesiology experience Valid Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain (Indiana license preferred) Current AHA-issued certifications (BLS, ACLS as required) Recent case logs demonstrating experience with epidurals, spinals, and regional nerve blocks Experience with EPIC EMR preferred Responsibilities Provide high-quality anesthesia care across a diverse case mix: Endoscopy, OB, GYN, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Podiatry (Podiatry on Wednesdays) Perform spinals, epidurals, and regional nerve blocks as required; maintain up-to-date procedural logs Collaborate with CRNAs and the perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow and anesthesia coverage Document accurately and promptly in EPIC EMR to support clinical continuity and compliance Adhere to ASA guidelines, hospital policies, and patient safety protocols while delivering anesthesia care Apply now: If you are a Board Certified Anesthesiologist seeking locum tenens work in Indiana, submit your CV and recent case logs for consideration.
