Our organization is currently looking for a dedicated Medical Physicist to become part of the vibrant faculty within the Department of Radiation Oncology at our main campus. This is a full-time faculty role, with academic rank and salary aligned with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The selected individual will join a team of nine medical physicists who manage clinical responsibilities across our network, focusing on areas such as brachytherapy, SRS/SBRT, TBI, and quality assurance. The ideal applicant will possess Board Certification (or be Board Eligible) and hold a PhD in Medical Physics or a related discipline, along with a robust clinical background in Radiation Oncology Physics.

Qualifications for the Ideal Candidate:
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) with a PhD in Medical Physics or a related field.
- Strong clinical experience in Radiation Oncology Physics.
- Exceptional communication abilities, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Dedication to teaching physics to medical residents, medical physics residents, and graduate students at the MS level.
- Ability to develop independent research initiatives.
Our Radiation Oncology Department is equipped with advanced treatment technologies and a wide array of clinical and academic resources:
- State-of-the-Art Technology: 3 Varian TrueBeams, 1 Varian Edge, 1 Varian Ethos, 3 CT simulators, Aria/Eclipse/Ethos systems, Elekta Flexitron, Zeiss Intrabeam.
- Comprehensive Services: SRS, SBRT, HDR, TBI, IORT, hyperthermia, and Online Adaptive RT.
- Dynamic Team: 6 faculty physicists, 3 clinical physicists, 1 physicist-scientist, 6 dosimetrists, and 2 medical physics residents.

This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:
- Starting compensation ranging from $159,000 to $985,945.
- Salary determined by academic rank and experience.
