Position Overview: As an Account Receivables Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing accounts receivable activities, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining accurate records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our company while developing your skills in financial analysis and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to facilitate timely payment
- Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and address inquiries
- Prepare and distribute invoices, credit memos, and statements as needed
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline billing processes and improve collections efficiency
- Analyze payment patterns and trends to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Generate regular reports and metrics to track receivables performance and support decision-making
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or similar financial role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and financial regulations
