Mechanical/Electrical Assembler Travelling Contract

Flextrades is hiring MECHANICAL and ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLERS with 4+ recent years experience for a 2-4 month Travelling Contract to NEW JERSEY.

Contract Specs:

2-4 month Duration onsite in NJ

Mech:anical: $31/hr

Electrical: $32/hr

Per diem: $45/day

Guaranteed 50-hour workweek (OT after 40)

Hotel accommodations and travel pay included

Responsibilities

Mechanical Assembler

• Performing all mechanical aspects of assembling/connecting the large gas engines into the container. This includes engine modules, generators, and gearboxes.

• This will also include installing lubrication and cooling lines

• Must ensure work is done according to print and quality requirements, as well as perform some dimensional checks ensuring clearance between items and the interfacing components are done correctly.

• Operating overhead cranes (45t and 100t) and smaller gantry cranes as well

• Also required to complete final tasks to ensure the containers are ready for shipping and transport which will include fastening on the transfer cover, covering up ventilation ports with sheet metal, etc.

Electrical Assembler

• Performing the electrical aspects of assembling/connecting the large gas engines into the and inside the container.
• Tasks include running wire, cable, and conduit as well as some plastic hosing at times.
• Components being wired in include sensors, various controls systems, control boxes, panels, transmitters, and ignition modules, among others

Qualifications

• 4+ recent years ias an industrial assembler.

• Must be proficient with hand tools and have production line assembly experience
