Description:
This position involves performing various nuclear medicine scans and procedures.
Responsibilities include conducting cardiac, HIDA, bone, gastric, and VQ studies.
The department operates one scanner.
Candidates must be comfortable starting IVs as part of their duties.
The average number of scans performed daily ranges from 3 to 8.
Familiarity with EMR and PACS systems is required.
The department uses Siemens equipment, specifically the D-Spect for cardiac imaging.
There may be occasional coverage of other areas as needed.
Radiologists are present on-site to provide support.
Weekend calls may be required but are not mandatory.
Scrubs are not provided; candidates should come prepared in their own.
Cancellations will follow a specific policy aligned with contract duration.
Candidates should ensure compliance with the radius rule, limiting proximity to affiliated facilities.
