Project Engineer

Job Title: Project Engineer
Location: Frederick, Maryland
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00
Work Model: Onsite

Responsibilities

• Provide technical & administrative information to project team members to ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions.
• Troubleshoot engineering-related installation problems.
• Develop solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Plan and execute project completion activities and punch list items.
• Prepare specifications for purchasing materials and equipment.
• Generate and submit invoices and O&M manuals.
• Assist in developing full project estimates.
• Participate in Key Project Review (KPR).
• Manage coordination logs, detailing logs, and project schedules.
• Update schedules and monitor productivity reports.
• Identify value-added solutions and cost-saving methods.

• 2-4 years of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably from an ABET accredited program).
• 0-2 years of experience with a Master of Science or Master of Arts degree.
• Strong exposure to computer screens for extended periods.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and reach by extending hands or arms.
• Finger dexterity for manipulation of objects like keyboards.
• Excellent listening, communication, reading, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce logical solutions.
• Capability to understand spoken language and written information clearly.
