Staff Management Group is seeking a Production Maintenance Assistant for our client in Wayne, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 5AM - 2:30PM
- Plus overtime
Pay Rate:
- $18 / hour
Job Summary:
The Production Maintenance Assistant helps the maintenance team with basic equipmentupkeep and general shop duties. This is an entry-level position for someone who isdependable, enjoys hands-on work, and is willing to learn.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks and equipment repairs.
- Help keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
- Report equipment issues to the maintenance team.
- Follow company safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish.
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working around machinery.
