Mechanical Engineer

Our client located in the Marlborough, MA area is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development and integration of mechanical products from concept through production. This will start as a 6 month contract, possible contract to perm. It is onsite, so they are only considering candidates currently living within commuting distance. Must be a US Citizen or US Perm Resident. Responsibilities Design mechanical systems and components using SolidWorks and 3D CAD. Perform design verification, validation, structural analysis, and testing. Create and maintain drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Participate in design reviews and resolve technical issues. Support material selection, fabrication, subsystem integration, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 5–15 years of mechanical design experience with 2+ yrs of SolidWorks experience. Experience designing large mechanical products for harsh outdoor environments Experience with product verification, validation, and subsystem integration. Strong understanding of machinery/product design and manufacturing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
