Sr. Engineering Technician

2025 SALARY: $27.26 - $36.80 per hour CLOSING DATE: Open until filled; initial review due July 2, 2026 Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; 3 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and a valid Driver’s license. Responsibilities Responsible for completing non-routine work to support the planning, design, construction, and permitting of County construction projects. Responsibilities may include creating, reviewing, and interpreting plans, maps and engineering calculations; inspecting projects and construction materials; staking; technical writing; and acting as a liaison to the public. Work Test Period Appointee to the position must successfully complete probationary period per contract. Background Check Applicants selected for appointment must pass a criminal background check. Drug Testing Applicants selected for appointment must take and pass a drug test. Physical-Medical Standards Applicants must meet essential physical requirements of the position.
