Job Description:

This position involves working in the Interventional Radiology department, providing comprehensive care for both outpatient and inpatient procedures. The role requires participation in call rotations and handling a diverse patient population with varied interventional needs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, kyphoplasties, and angiograms.
• Manage patient care before, during, and after procedures in a high-acuity setting.
• Administer moderate sedation and manage sedation-related care.
• Participate in on-call rotations and cover emergency procedures as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Alabama.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Proficient in ICU care, moderate sedation, and medication titration.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner, is beneficial.
