We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support a brokerage team in Long Beach, California. Responsibilities:

• Enter and update numeric and text-based information into company systems with a high level of accuracy.

• Review documents for completeness and correct errors or inconsistencies before finalizing records.

• Maintain organized electronic files and ensure data is easy to retrieve for operational teams.

• Support brokerage and logistics workflows by recording shipment, customs, and transaction details promptly.

• Use Microsoft Excel to track information, verify entries, and assist with routine reporting needs.

• Coordinate with internal team members to clarify missing information and keep data records current.

• Follow established procedures to protect data quality, confidentiality, and processing timelines.

• Previous experience in data entry or administrative support involving high-volume information processing.
• Strong typing ability with proven accuracy in numeric and computer-based data entry tasks.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and comfort using spreadsheets for tracking and validation.
• Familiarity with customs brokerage, logistics, or transportation documentation is preferred.
• Ability to spot discrepancies, correct errors, and manage details with consistency.
• Comfortable working independently while meeting deadlines in a structured office environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with team members and resolving data issues.
