Teaches positive interactions and maintains discipline using PCCS CARES Values, school rules and procedures. Maintains and organizes supplies for programs and students. Maintains a good relationship with the children, parents, and staff to ensure a safe and successful program. Supports student learning as needed. Aids in the instruction of students in the principles of responsible citizenship and other subject matters as needed. Maintains control of and accounts for the whereabouts and safety of children. Ensures children depart with an authorized person. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Illinois Elementary (Type 03) or Secondary (Type 09) OR Substitute Certificate. Be mature, responsible, energetic, and nurturing with excellent interpersonal skills. Subject to fingerprinting and must pass a criminal background check. Experience in a school‑age care setting is a plus. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
