Role Overview As an Optometric Assistant, you play a vital role in supporting our optometrists in delivering thorough comprehensive visual exams, medical exams, and in-office procedures. Your work ensures patients receive high-quality care by performing preliminary testing, managing electronic medical records, and assisting with contact lens follow‑ups. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our optometric services. What You Will Do Assist the doctor with comprehensive visual exams, medical exams, and in-office minor medical procedures. Perform preliminary testing and manage electronic medical record entries. Conduct contact lens classes and support contact lens follow‑ups. Handle post‑exam follow‑up tasks and provide support duties as needed. Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Basic math skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service or optometric tech experience. Computer and/or electronic medical records knowledge.
