MRI Tech Position Available

MRI Tech position available. Weekend coverage is required, providing coverage for 16 hours a day from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. For the other 8 hours, shifts could be Monday, Wednesday, or Friday evenings from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The average daily caseload per tech is 20-25 patients over a 24-hour period. The department is equipped with one Philips scanner. The traveler will never work alone, as the caseload is managed by the department, not individually by techs. Experience in an adult acute care setting is required. Experience with MRI procedures is required for abdomen and MRCP. Daily patient interactions will include adults and geriatrics. Required skills include proficiency in various MRI techniques and imaging methods. The department is a Level 1 Trauma Center and supports a major teaching hospital environment. Flu vaccination is required unless a documented medical exemption is provided.
