Job Overview We have a current opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist – Full‑time. This person will collaborate closely with our primary accountant on essential financial tasks, including data entry using QuickBooks and Excel, managing accounts payable, processing weekly checks, credit card reconciliations, and various administrative duties. The full‑time position operates Monday to Friday with a competitive starting rate of $22–26 per hour. About Longmont Dairy Farm Longmont Dairy Farm is one of the larger home milk delivery companies in the United States. It is a local, family‑owned, stable company that has been farming, processing, and delivering milk in glass bottles for over 50 years. Responsibilities Enter and manage data in QuickBooks, focusing on Accounts Payable functions. Handle daily online deposits and distribute invoices for managerial approval in the Accounts Payable process. Generate checks and bill payments for entities within the Longmont Dairy family of businesses. Perform monthly credit card reconciliations, collect receipts, and enter entries accurately in QuickBooks. Maintain the W‑9 database for Longmont Dairy vendors and records for tax filings. Assist with additional administrative tasks using Microsoft Office Suite. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; college degree or 3 years of Accounting/QuickBooks experience strongly recommended. Detail‑oriented with strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. At least one year of experience using QuickBooks preferred. Proficiency with office machinery, especially a 10‑key calculator. Excellent communication skills and professional language proficiency. Strong math ability and sound reasoning skills for problem‑solving. Good time management, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
