Associate Professor of Instruction - Clinical Laboratory Sciences

JOB DUTIES: Teach Clinical Laboratory Sciences courses (lectures) to on-campus and distance MS/DCLS students.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Teach Clinical Laboratory Sciences courses (lectures) to on-campus and distance MS/DCLS students. Specifically, to teach:MSHP 5302 Scientific WritingCLLS 55319 BiostatisticsCLLS 6306 Diagnostic AlgorithmsCLLS 6031 DCLS Seminar 2Develop lesson plans, prepare presentations, and obtain visual aids for on campus and distance web-based courses, grade student papers, and practical examinations.Advise students (both on-campus and distance) on academic and research activities.Participate in scholarly, professional, and administrative service activities.Participate in departmental meetings and committee meetings, and other scholarly activities.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Applicants must have a doctoral degree in health-related field and three years teaching experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Doctoral degree in health-related field and/or 3 years teaching experience.SALARY:Commensurate with experience.
