We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team of Insurance professionals. Our team specializes in promoting State Farm's diverse portfolio of insurance and financial service products and is an independent State Farm Agency .  



 
No insurance experience? No problem! On-the-job training will be provided for all insurance related duties. Applicants must be willing/able to procure a Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance producer license prior to starting and within 6 weeks of job offer .  



 
Job Overview; 
This full-time sales position will interact directly with prospective customers to further grow our Agency’s customer base and portfolio. The majority of the role’s responsibilities revolve around making cold/warm sales calls from agency provided leads, following up on these leads, and closing sales- turning potential clients into life-long customers. This position will report directly to the Office Manager. 



 
Responsibilities; 

• Run quotes and make contact with prospective customers from the provided sales leads. 
• Using a needs-based review process, market State Farm products and services directly to prospective customers. 
• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner over the phone, in-person and through text, and email.
• Conduct New Customer Orientations, Policy Reviews, and product specific meetings with all new customers. 
• Complete any underwriting follow-up for all new policies written.
• Manage weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly sales goals. 

Requirements; 

• At least 1 years of Sales experience required, 2-3 years of experience preferred 
• Associate's degree -OR- equivalent work experience preferred 
• Ability to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance producer licenses within the specified time frame 
• Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office and Teams; Experience with CRM or eCRM programs is a plus 
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals 
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment 
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask 

Benefits; 

• Salary base pay of $45,000 - $55,000 per year DoE, $50,000 - $65,000 with commission
