Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Connecticut or compact state
• Minimum of 1 year recent Telemetry RN experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong EKG interpretation skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Closely monitor and assess cardiac telemetry patients
• Respond rapidly to changes in cardiac rhythms and initiate appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and post-discharge needs
• Accurately document patient care activities and progress in electronic medical records
